Over 100 reviews of competitions on ProAmNews

Good day dear dancers!

We have reached another great milestone on ProAmNews and it is one of the most important ones – dancers around the world have written more than 100 reviews of events! The system we produced here at ProAmNews is a brand new one in the market and, obviously, takes a little time to get used to.

ProAm dancers did not have a place online where they can freely share their reviews and rank events based on their experience before. While it is only a beginning, we are extremely happy that you enjoy this feature.

More and more events are added online constantly, organisers are seeing the benefits of it already and we believe that ProAmNews is helping out the dancers to make their decisions and know all the details about the events they take part in!

However, we are looking into making a few changes to make sure that the system is even better in the future. This will include a slight change to the ranking formula based on Expert/Dancer rank weights. We are still analysing on how to best proceed, but based on some data, we want to slightly adjust the formula so events can be ranked even better.

At the same time, we are constantly looking to add more ProAm industry experts (dancers, teachers, adjudicators, organisers) who can continue sharing their opinions and reviews on our website. If you have anyone in mind, please email us info@proamnews.com
