We are extremely proud to have finally made an online tool which gives the power to the dancing community around the globe to rank and review dance events. It has been long overdue and a feature many of you have requested in the past. Why is it so important? Let’s have a look

Experience of ProAm

ProAm dancing is all about the experiences. Whether you are a novice, or an experienced ProAm dancer, you have already done one of the most scary things: you have become a dancer on a big stage, with many people watching and cheering you. That is a big deal! The nerves, your many many dance lessons, the dresses, tuxedos, time and effort you have put into this great dance genre – you should be proud!

Therefore, it is only fair, that You, the ProAm dancers, have the right to review the events where you take part. You can finally share your experiences with the rest of the dancers, to help them make the right decision about the events they are planning to attend. Here at ProAmNews we believe that is the right which each performer has and we finally made that possible online!

Sharing the knowledge

ProAm dance industry has been growing fast, especially in recent years, with many new competitions in new locations, around Europe, USA or Asia. More and more ProAm couples are taking part in events around the world. However, just as in any industry, with a fast rise, there needs to be time for adjustment. Some dance competitions have been around for a long time and had the time to discover their strengths, some have just begun and are still learning what they can offer to the public.

ProAmNews gives the chance for you, the clients of these events, to voice your opinions in form of ranking and reviews, so that the organisers can see how the community views their efforts and competition planning. It is equally important for the organisers to learn what can be improved, take constructive criticism or thank the dancers for praise where it is due.

Helping hand for the New Dancers

The new ProAm dancers are always the more cautious ones. They have not yet been in this fabulous world long enough to know much about it. They are learning. With each lesson, each event. The community based ranking and reviews of Competitions around the world will help them see what is what in the world of ProAm dancing. Do you not check the reviews of the Hotels when you book your next vacation? Sure you do. We all do, at some point. Now we can provide this chance for the ProAm dancers around the globe, too!

So we invite all of you to feel free and give power to Your voice! Rank & Review competitions where you have been to. Share your opinions with fellow dancers and organisers. At the end, we all have the simple right – to speak our mind! That is why we made ProAmNews as it is!

What to do to be able to rank the events on ProAmNews?

Simply sign up as a user on our website. Once you are logged in, you can start ranking the competitions from 1 to 10 points (10 being perfection), and leaving a short few sentence review of your experiences in the event.

The Future of Competition ranking on ProAmNews

In the near future, we will invite ProAm expert users, who will also be able to rank and review the events. These experts are people who have been in the industry for a long time, have traveled the world and have seen many competitions. Have someone in mind? Let us know and we will get in touch!
